Chadwick and The Call to Greatness |
3 years ago yesterday, the world woke up to news of the tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman whom we had all recently warmed up to as our own real life super hero
He had led a predominantly black cast in a major blockbuster for the very first time.
He was our culture hero; ‘The’ Black Panther.
What was most humbling was the fact that even though he’d been dealing with colon cancer the last 4 years of his life, he’d given every role he played 110% percent. Such that many who knew him had no idea of the intense pain and distress he was going through.
He’d literally go from multiple surgeries and chemo treatments to movie sets completing production for several films without compromising on his interpretation and delivery of the characters he played.
All this while dealing with a terminal disease?
What focus; what grit.
The rumors and insensitive comments about his weight loss didn’t seem to sway him as he was recorded to have been silent through the speculations of eating disorders and drug abuse.
I guess he felt no real need to explain himself to anyone.
After all, those who needed to know, knew.

‘The call…for action goes out to all ears in range of the sound,
But it is only the chosen who hear the inward call.
Those who have the inward conviction to take action, to do what is needed
The chosen listen to that inward call,
And so, (they) move’
This quote from Chadwick is what I’m sharing with you this regular, no-frills Tuesday afternoon.
%name%, there’s no need to seek validation like we often do.
How long will you pamper yourself with excuses? ( for some, they are outright lies)
Let your inward conviction rise to that inward call and move.
Do what is needed because it is.
By the time I write to you next week, the offer to join Magnetism10x this year would have closed.
Chadwick’s journey reminds us that the call is not always loud; it’s the quiet beckoning of your soul.
‘The Call’ is often subtle, a whisper amidst the harshness of life , which we often silence with fear or self-sabotage.
Whenever you get a feeling that tugs at you when you’re at crossroads, know that it’s a call to forge a path that leads you to your true essence.
As Magnetism10X prepares to close its cart, you stand at a crossroads of your own.
You’re being called to something greater — a transformative journey that unveils your true potential, nurtures your authenticity, and guides you towards a life of purpose and impact.
The journey of any call is about more than seizing an opportunity; it’s more about answering an inner summon, trusting that inner whisper that tells you there’s more to explore and more to become.
On the anniversary of my brother’s passing last week, I shared the most intense and intimate evening teaching an exclusive group on ‘Know You’ an excerpt of Module 1 of Magnetism10x.

I’m officially counting down to my 45th birthday this Sunday and thinking of writing you the most special piece to share my day with you.
What will you want me to tell you about? Lol
I can’t believe I just wrote that because —how?
But, let’s see how it goes.
Sending you sunshine and lots of love %Name%
You are deserving of it.
